Republic of Indonesia or more often called Indonesia is an archipelagic country that is located very strategically in the world. The country is located in Southeast Asia directly adjacent to Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Timor Leste and Papua New Guinea. As is known, Indonesia has 6 main islands (Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, Papua) and 17,508 small islands.
Indonesia is a very rich country, be it in the field of natural wealth, culture, culinary, tourism and in other sectors. The country is also the fourth most populous country in the world and is the country with the largest Muslim majority in the world. The population is 263,846,946 inhabitants (according to data in 2016). Indonesia has 34 provinces, divided into 416 districts and 98 cities, and has 5 provinces with special status different from other provinces of Aceh, Yogyakarta, West Papua, Papua and Jakarta.
Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia located on the island of Java. For the language, Indonesia has more than 300 languages, but Bahasa Indonesia is the main language used by people in Indonesia to communicate. For the weather conditions, Indonesia is a tropical country because of its location on the equator of the world and has two seasons of dry season and rainy season. For religion as we already know, Indonesia is a country with the most Muslim population in the world, but there are other religions here such as Protestant (8.9%), Catholic (3%), Hinduism (1.8%), Buddhist (0.8%), and others (0.3%).
